  7. Use a blender or food processor to puree the sauce until smooth and creamy.

  8. Allow the Adjika Pizza Sauce to cool completely before using it as a base for your favorite pizza toppings.

Spicy Pepperoni Pizza with Adjika Pizza Sauce

  • Prepared pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1/2 cup Adjika Pizza Sauce (recipe above)

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/4 cup sliced pepperoni

  • 1/4 cup sliced red onions

  • 1/4 cup sliced bell peppers

  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)

  1. Preheat your oven to the highest temperature (usually around 220°c or as high as your oven will go) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat up.

  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness.

  3. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a piece of parchment paper.

  4. Spread the Adjika Pizza Sauce evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges for the crust.

  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, covering the entire surface.

  6. Arrange the sliced pepperoni, red onions, and bell peppers on top of the cheese.

  7. Carefully transfer the pizza (on the parchment paper) onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet in the oven.

  8. Bake the pizza for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling and melted.

  9. Once the pizza is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly.

  10. Garnish with fresh basil leaves for a pop of colour and added flavour, if desired.

  11. Slice the spicy pepperoni pizza into wedges and serve hot. Enjoy!
