1 whole chicken, cut into 8 pieces
2 tbsp olive oil
1 cup whole milk
4 garlic cloves, minced

1 tbsp butter
Salt & pepper to taste

Heat olive oil in a large ovenproof pan over medium heat. Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then sear on both sides until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
